Trading platform time is the time that the MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 platform charts and data are set in. VT Markets trading server time is set to GMT+2 OR GMT+3 depending on the daylight savings.
All the client terminals by default follow the same platform time settings. you can find live server time by checking "Market Watch" view in your MT4/MT5 trading software. The server midnight (00:00) aligns with the New York closing time (5 pm EST) which allows smooth market operation along the week.
You can change the time zone to reflect your local or desktop time zone, although, this is not recommended. If you are interested in making these changes, there are custom indicators and other tools available to allow for this time zone change reflection.
